Care Instructions for Steed Stitchery Garments
BE ADVISED:
All Steed Stitchery Garments are pre-washed when in raw fabric format with an unscented, gentle detergent. This allows for pre-shrinking of the fabric and removes any chemicals from manufacturing and shipping processes.
Almost all of Steed Stitchery Garments can be washed on a normal cycle and tumbled dry low.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Fabric content can be found on your original quote document. If you are unsure of the fabric content of your piece, please feel free to reach out to Steed Stitchery at steedstitchery@outlook.com to request this information.
Any item with heat transfer vinyl (HTV) appliques should be turned inside out for washing to help preserve the vinyl.
Most spandex and stretch fabrics do not require ironing. However, if you need to iron your clothing, start with the lowest heat setting (usually nylon) and test in an inconspicuous area.
ODOR after drying: Some products with high spandex content may have “odor” after being dried in a conventional dryer. This is a natural occurrence when the spandex is exposed to high heat in the dryer. If you notice this after placing your pieces in the dryer, air dry flat instead.
